Let's do this

So my last post was about how undecided I was on what to do with my hair. After hours of thinking, advice from all my friends and being the crazy lady that I am I've deiced to be greedy and do booth styles. First I'll have it short and bright red and then I'll add my extensions/weave. I've done a lot of research when it comes to the hair colour as I want it very bright.

I've watched many videos on youtube and may people I know have suggested to use Loreal's Majicontrast, why you ask? Well I'll tell you, what makes this product special is that it's for naturally dark hair and doesn't require a lightener or pre-bleeching (we'll see). It offers Hi.Chroma for visible results on dark natural or dark coloured hair. Although it states it's long lasting, the amount of times I've heard how quickly red fades is ridiculous! So I need to protect it and keep it as bright as I can which is where Tresemme Colour fade protection shampoo & conditioner comes in. It is said to protect your colour for up to 40 washes, shields rich hues from fading leaving your hair soft and beautiful. I have used Tresemme in the past and I was very happy with the product so I'm hoping this will do the same.

This is all taking place this weekend, I have my sister coming over and my homegirl Sharan helping in this madness. I'll be sure to take before and after photos and I'll maybe make a short video. I'll see you guys on the other side.

Cream peroxide 9%/30 Vol (to give the colour that pop) you can also use 40 Vol which is the maximum recommend
