Lights, camera, Fashion: 2011 Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG) No.1 the risk takers

It's the ladies I love with all my heart because they think outside the box. We see Claire Danes being brave and going for a floral patten, when I saw her in this dress I instantly thought of Spring time as it's very girly and the colour looks beautiful on her skin. Angie Harmon took to the red carpet with feathers (lots of feathers) I thought this was a brave move as it was all about the texture of the garment and last but not least the Julie Bowen. Julie was a number 1 risk taker for me as I don't think I've seen a pantsuit on the red carpet before, you either love it or hate it, but you have to admire her for trying.

Claire Danes (Winner for outstanding performance by a female actor in a television movie or mini series)
Take a look at this belted floral Louis Vuitton dress, Claire is being brave by going for a floral print, belt and fringe detail at the top of the dress, there's a lot going on, but I think she pulls it off very well

 Angie Harmon
This feathered Monique Lhuilllier gown screams fairytale

 Julie Bowen
What do you think of this Catherine Malandrino pantsuit

Lights, camera, Fashion: 2011 Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG)

Hello everyone, so it's round 2 of the award ceremonies and last night saw the 2011 Screen Actors Guild Awards. This year on the red carpet we saw a lot of, pinks, oranges, nudes and virgin whites. I'll do what I did last time for the Golden Globes and narrow it down into 3 categories: No.1 the risk takers (my personal favourite), No.2 the men and last but not least No.3 the best dressed.

Sarah Hyland

Jennifer Lawrence

Window shopping in Bluewater

A little window shopping every now again is good for the soul, it's nice to see what's out there at the moment and also to see what's flying off the racks. The pictures I've taken below are pieces I like and items that are popular in the stores, take a look  and see what's out there.

Check out these cool suede shoe boot wedge heel £85
Now you can't go wrong with a wedge heel as they are the most comfortable (for me anyway), I like how these ones are not too high and the laces make the boots a lot more smarter

These satchels are flying off the shelfs and come in many different colours in the store, they are a medium size and I can definitely see these bags being really popular this Spring/Summer

I love these crucifix earrings and I've seen a hell of a lot of them about not only on earrings but also necklaces and rings

Primark 2011 Spring/Summer Collection

With over 150 stores in the UK Primark has evolved over the years and is now up there alongside H&M, Topshop and Zara as a popular high-street brand. No matter how hard we try to ignore Primark we can never ignore it's price tag. There are many people out there who don't like Primark because everyone goes there and it becomes a cheap uniform rather than a fashion show, however, I believe it shouldn't be how cheap or expensive an item is, it's how you wear it. I've seen many people wear Primark clothes and it looks like they got it from Urban Outfitters. If everyone is shopping at Primark then so be it, there is something there for everyone as it caters to all, think of it as Primark and it's sustainable style.

After looking over Primark's Spring/Summer collection I was very impressed with what they had to offer, pretty much everything that's set to be popular for this season is in the collection. We see everything from chiffon blouses, midi skirts, to faux leather shorts and wooden heels, Primark's collection is one collection not to be ignored. Take a look below and see what they have to offer, I'm sure there will be one item that catches your eye. (I don't have any prices for the images below, sorry guys)

Lace trim tee, printed cotton bow shorts, crochet shoe boots and floral headband

2 in 1 chiffon midi, cork platform nude heels

Haircut 2011

So, if anyone knows me they know I don't keep the same haircut/style for very long, I get bored easily and I like to push myself and experiment, why not? you only live once right. So I have a couple of ideas that come to mind when cutting my hair, this year I'm cutting it way earlier than normal,  usually wait till the summer but who cares I'm doing it and I'll post pictures up soon. Here are some of the looks I like and thinking of going for:

Haller Berry, very cute and simple

Carey Mulligan, I'm liking this red/brown colour and having it wavy like this is cool

Michelle Willams, a nice sweep to the side

Emma Watson, a cool and very short pixie cut (Am I brave enough to go this short)
