Celebrity Style: Jessie J

"Stomp stomp she's arrived" (and thank god she has) the beautiful and unbelievably talented Jessie J is one woman not to be ignored in 2011. Not only is her voice incredible but her style is one to watch out for, it's daring and unique. Oh and by the way this home girl is from Essex :-) she describes her style as "Ghetto chic. I love tacky jewellery, mega heels, high-waisted shorts, catsuits". I'm looking forward to her album "Who you are" coming out, but ladies and gents we have to wait until 06/06/2011, you know what they say, good things come to those who wait, until then I'm going to admire her style, here are my favourite outfits from Jessie J. I'm looking forward to seeing what her wardrobe has to bring throughout 2011.

Jay-Z - Change Clothes ft. Pharrell

Glitz, glamor and beautiful women come to mind when I hear this song, so when I saw the video I wasn't surprised. Featuring the most beautiful super models with a soundtrack by the most influential man in the hip-hop music industry "Change Clothes" music video doesn't disappoint when it comes to the clothes. In the video we see everything from sexy hot pants, floral dresses, gillets to my favourite skin tight pants with Swarovski detail and faux fur. When I watch this video I think of red carpet glamour, lights, paparazzi and everything in between, love the song thank you Jay-Z and Mr Pharrell.

Tights, tights, tights

I absolutely love tights, to me they are every girls best friend because they are slimming and hide of any lumps and bumps we may have. I'm someone that doesn't mind showing there legs, most of my friends even find it weird when I wear jeans or trousers as I always have my legs on show, but I don't go anywhere in the Autumn or Winter without my tights. My tights collection is forever growing and the last couple of years I've really had no limits with funky tights, from playful, girly, simple, colourful and very, very sexy, when it comes to tights with me the sky is the limit.

Here is my first video for this blogg, I chose 6 of my favourite pairs of tights and go through each one. A big shout out to iMovie, I couldn't of done this without you. Enjoy. (I apologise if the quality is not great)

Nelly Furtado - Do It

Not only do I love this song (reminds me of summer 2007, good bloody times) but the clothes in this video are to die for. The song has a very 80's feel to it with the bubblegum keyboards (which reminds me of Pacmac) and the clothes in the video really rub off on the song. We see everything from racer back tops, skin-tight grey skinnies, wet look leggings, wedge heels, gladiator heels, bright playsuits, metallics, leopard prints, chunky junk jewellery and cut open leotards. I love everything in this video, thank you Nelly Furtado

Stylish Music Videos

People always ask me where my inspiration comes from in terms of my style and how I put my clothes together and although I'm inspired by everyone and everything around me I get a lot of my inspiration from music videos. Whether they are independent or shot by world famous music directors whoever is styling these music videos (praise the lord) because your doing a fantastic job. I feel like the clothes in the music videos tell a story about who they are, where they're from and sometimes viewing these videos we know what's going on in the fashion industry. Below are a couple of screen shots from some of my favourite stylish videos, everything works for me in these videos from the bright colours, beautiful accessories and the statement high heels.
